Vanguard Initiative at Technology & Business Cooperation Days

The Technology & Business Cooperation Days in Hannover, will offer the opportunity to Vanguard Initiative Pilots participants to showcase and promote their activities gaining visibility in an international context.
This matchmaking event will also allow SMEs and RTOs involved in the Pilots to meet new partners, enlarge their network and explore new possibilities of cross border cooperation.

While creating new business connections participants will also be able identify new ideas and opportunities to develop projects with commercial potential.

                                                          About the Vanguard Initiative

The Vanguard Initiative (VI) is a network of 37 of EU regions aiming at fostering economic and industrial growth in Europe.

The VI core activity is the implementation of its seven Pilot Projects. The VI Pilots are interregional cooperation projects where businesses and knowledge institutes work together in specific industry domains to codevelop and demonstrate new business solutions (>TRL 5).

The VI Pilots offer a unique platform to create joint strategic action plans, align investments and support companies in their innovation process to increase their global competitiveness.

The stakeholders of the VI Pilots have the possibility to access to exclusive networks of pilot plants, demo-sites, and partners, cooperating to promote faster market uptake of advanced products and services.

One of the main objectives of Vanguard is to support innovative SMEs. The VI is launching its first SME support scheme, an innovation voucher scheme (up to EUR 11000) to facilitate their involvement in the VI pilot activities.
